When is the Great Migration in the Mara?
The Mara is commonly associated with July to October, but the exact timing varies each year. We plan around your dates and keep the route flexible where possible.
Is the Mara only for experienced safari travellers?
Not at all. Its accessible wildlife viewing makes it an excellent first safari, while private guiding and conservancies allow experienced photographers and returning travellers to go deeper.
Should I fly or drive from Nairobi?
Flying is efficient for shorter stays. Driving adds changing scenery and can work well when the Mara is part of a longer Kenya circuit.
